Who would use a RODSOCK?
A. Anyone who is a keen Angler
that wants to take care of their Fishing Rods whilst in either storage or
whilst transporting them in the Car or in Rod Tubes.
How do I determine what size
I need?
A. Simply measure your Fishing
Rod and take the exact or nearest next size RODSOCK fishing rod cover. IE: a
5' 10" would use a 6' 0" RODSOCK Fishing Rod Cover.
How much over hang is allowed
for tying and cuffing the Fishing Rod Tip?
A. The over hang allowance is
10".
Why would I buy a Natural
RODSOCK covers when they will get dirtier than the Black?
A. The Natural RODSOCK Fishing
Rod Cover is designed to suit the cost conscious Angler. The colour will
show marks easier than the Black but they can be washed using a laundry bag.
Will they shrink?
A. All un-process cotton will
shrink. A 5% allowance is factored into the length of the RODSOCK cover.
I have a 7' 0" - 2 piece
Fishing Rod. Why would I buy a 7' 0" - 1 piece RODSOCK cover?
A. The RODSOCK is designed to
store both a single or multi piece Fishing Rod. You can breakdown the
Fishing Rod sections without removing it from the RODSOCK by gently pulling
each sections apart at the ferule joins. The RODSOCK has sufficient stretch
to allow the sections to be separated and folded back down on themselves.
Will they fit over my Reel
whilst attached to my Fishing Rod?
A. The RODSOCK has excellent
stretch characteristics. The answer really depends on what size Reel you
have attached. Many customer with Baitcaster outfits find sufficient stretch
to fit over the Baitcaster Reels. This in part is why we offer 2 versions of
ReelSock Cover and Bag.
